Welcome to the Syracuse Football Club!
Thanks to the ever changing landscape of college sports, for the first time ever, the entire roster of players — ALL OF YOU — are able to be active members of the SFC. With the advent of NIL and the transfer portal, alumni can now have contact with players who have remaining eligibility. Prior to these changes, the NCAA would not allow us to have contact with any player until they had used up all of their eligibility.
In support of Coach Fran’s SYRACUSE 60 commitment, we proposed that every player on the current roster and going forward new players, be added to the Syracuse Football Club (SFC) as PLAYER MEMBERS. This will give the roughly 800 active SFC football alumni and players the maximum opportunity to get to know each other through informal interactions and formal mentoring, networking and career enhancement programs.
We are still working with Coach Fran and the athletic department to determine exactly how this will be structured and formally rolled out to support his SYRACUSE 60 commitment and each of you. That said, the SFC mission of “PLAYERS HELPING PLAYERS” and the work we have done around mentoring, networking and career enhancement over the years, lines up perfectly with SYRACUSE 60 goal of helping you get jobs within 60 days of your graduation.
Please take some time to look through the various tabs of the front end of the website. It will help you get to know the SFC. Once you are officially “In The Club” you will get login credentials to enter the backend where you can get to know the 800+ SFC members of your club.
