This past weekend (September 6th) we held our SFC Fall Reunion. I must say that it was a
resounding success! Our weekend events started off with our Friday Gala held at the Aloft Inner
Harbor. During this event we honored the memory of Mike and Judy Zunic by awarding Dennis
Hartman class of 84 the Zunic Award. It was very special to Dennis because Mike was a close
friend and teammate of his. Dennis teammates and family showed up in full force to celebrate
his award. I was honored to be in such special company as the teammates of Mike Zunic were
in attendance.
We continued our Friday Gala with great stories and fellowship while listening to our very own
SFC member Eddie Dowdell as our DJ. Meier’s Creek catered our event with good food and an
open bar. We wrapped up the evening at the Aloft having a few more adult beverages and
smoking some very nice cigars donated by Kevin Greene class of 91.
